Who is insured ?

The persons insured are the customers and rightful owners of a ski-pass issued by the ski resort, with the inscription of «insured» or the name of the insurance product bought.

Is it necessary to complete an insurance contract?

No, the skipass issued by the ski resort, with the inscription of «insured » or the name of the insurance product bought is a proof of the payment of the insurance premium.

When does the insurance period start and end?

The start and end dates of the insurance are indicated on the ski-pass.

What is necessary for the insurance to be valid?

The insurance is only valid on the skiing slopes covered by the ski-pass issued by the ski resort. All the guarantees are only valid if the ski patrol team has been involved at the accident spot.

Is that only for skiers?

No. The insurance is valid for the ski and assimilated sliding sports, such as snowboard, skibob as well as any other activity that implies the use the ski lifts and the ski slopes of the ski resort. The hikes are also assimilated to the practice of the ski.

What to do in case of a loss ?

Contact the ski patrol team of the ski resort ;
Contact EUROP ASSISTANCE within 10 days after the event occurred;
Obtain the prior agreement of EUROP ASSISTANCE before taking any action or undertaking any expenses and comply with recommended solutions ;
Supply EUROP ASSISTANCE with original documents for expenses for which reimbursement is requested.

All cases of force majeure, including les interdictions decided by the local, national or international authorities ;
